Full & Part Rewires
With fire safety standards having changed back in 2005 and new IEE wiring regulations in place now, it’s important that you don’t forget all re-wires must be BS7671 compliant. All our electricians are NAPIT approved and will provide you with a full breakdown of the work needed before they start. A full rewire traditionally means replacing all cabling, fittings and distribution equipment and setting it back into the walls but, in the case of an upgrade or partial re-wire, we can simply hide the replaced cabling in trunking fitted onto the walls.

Due to the growing demand in both the commercial and domestic market for renewable energy sources to reduce costs and increase efficiency, photo voltaic production has been doubling every 2 years since 2002. Archway Electricals can install a solar panel system to provide clean, cheap electricity and hot water as well as a wall mounted display to help you monitor the efficiency and usage of your property. Archway’s lengthy experience in the industry means we can discuss the best type of photo voltaic panels to use and the kind of result you should expect from your new installation as well as advising on the impact and cost of the work involved in each project we take on. There are currently generous government grants available for solar panel installation to reduce your costs and recently “feed-in” tariffs (whereby you produce enough electricity to feed some back into the National Grid) for solar panels have increased by 50% recently with more increases expected in 2010, meaning that eventually your solar panel system may even start paying for itself! |

Trace Heating Frost Protection
Archway Electricals have years of experience installing trace heating systems in commercial premises to protect against frost and freezing and maintain temperatures on heating pipes. We use HIWAT self-regulating heating cables to compensate for any heating loss as well as provide instant hot water in large buildings like hotels or offices whilst remaining as cost efficient as possible. In addition, this temperature maintenance system prevents costly incidents such as frozen or burst pipes. Archway Electricals offer the option of complete electronic control systems, fully tested and compliant, to measure and maintain heating in your premises. The rise in popularity of these systems comes from the fact that trace heating is not only more reliable than other systems but also more efficient and carries lower installation costs. |
